B.C. Currency Exchange Inc.
B.C. Currency Exchange Inc. (the "Company") filed a Notice of Intention to make a proposal ("NOI") on April 30, 2020 and McEown and Associates Ltd. was appointed as Trustee. The Certificate of Filing of an NOI and the Notice to Creditors of Filing the Notice of Intention can be found below.
On May 6, 2020, on application by a creditor, the Court granted an Order appointing McEown and Associates Ltd. as Interim Receiver of the Company.
On May 29, 2020, the Court granted an Order extending the time to file the proposal to June 29, 2020. A copy of the entered Extension Order is available below.
Due to the Company’s inability to file a Proposal by the extension date of June 29, 2020, the Company was deemed to have made an Assignment in Bankruptcy on June 30, 2020 and McEown and Associates Ltd. was appointed as Trustee. Copies of the Certificate of Assignment, the Creditor Package and the creditor list are available below.
On February 22, 2022, on the Trustee's application the Court granted an Order (the "Claims Process Order") in the bankruptcy proceedings for a claims process for Lenders. A copy of the Order, as well as a copy of the Website Materials (as described in the Claims Process Order) are available below.
