John McEown
John McEown is the founder and principal of McEown and Associates Ltd. After spending several years with serving as Vice-President and partner of other insolvency boutiques John founded McEown and Associates Ltd.
John is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, a Chartered Accountant and a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.

John has extensive experience in corporate insolvency proceedings. He has been involved in large real estate and development restructurings, manufacturing companies, transportation companies as well as a variety of other corporate matters. He has worked on various restructurings including Monitor under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, acting for secured lenders performing viability assessments, Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act as well as formal Receiverships and has worked with debtors in financial difficulty.
He is currently a member of the Vancouver Insolvency Discussion Group.
