McEown and Associates Ltd. was subsequently appointed as Court-Appointed Receiver of Pro West Transport Ltd. pursuant to the Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia dated April 14, 2025.
​
On August 1, 2025, the Receiver filed a Notice of Application seeking Court approval of prior asset sales, authorization to complete an additional sale, approval of its First Report and activities, and permission to make an interim distribution.
​
On August 15, 2025, the Supreme Court of British Columbia approved the Receiver’s application authorizing the sale of assets described in the First Report to Court, approving an additional sale to a third-party purchaser, permitting interim distributions, and approving the Receiver’s activities to date.
​
​On November 13, 2025, the Receiver filed a Notice of Application seeking Court approval of a proposed sale of the Burnaby property, authorization to distribute the net sale proceeds in accordance with established priorities, and approval of the Receiver’s activities as set out in its Second Report to Court.
​
On November 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of British Columbia issued an Approval and Vesting Order authorizing the Receiver to complete a court-approved sale, vesting the purchased assets in the buyers free and clear of encumbrances and approving the Receiver’s activities set out in its Second Report.
